Turn signal wiring revisited
I have done searches both on this forum and Google and have seen schematics of the 7, 6, and 4 wire diagrams. My Hudson uses a 6 wire switch, but with a 3 prong flasher.
I have fiqured out how to wire the switch but do not know where the third wire on the flasher goes. It is the "L" or load wire. The X wire is the power to the Flasher, the "P" or Pilot wire goes to the blue wire on the turn signal switch. The brake light switch connects to the Red wire on the Turn signal switch. The outside pairs of wires on the turn signal switch go to the left or right side lights.
Should the "L" wire be connected to a ground or Where?
Thanks in Advance.
Pat.
PS: I met Hudsonator and his Dad yesterday. Spent a couple of hours talking Hudsons and looking at his cars, great people. Thanks again Mark for letting me stop by.
Mark, if I had been as far as I am now with this turn signal wiring I would have stuck my head under your Wasp and looked to see where that third wire went.

Pat , The wires on your TS flasher go as follows: "P" is the green/white chevron wire going to the flasher indicator light on the dash. "X" is the white/black chevron wire going to the 14 amp fuse which then goes to the accessory terminal on the starter switch . "L" is the blue/white chevron wire going to the blue wire on the TS switch harness. This is not a ground wire. Good luck wiring.0
