Stepdown front floor pans
These are on e-bay and I need a pair of these. I've seen them in the WTN for $125 each. Do these look like the right stuff for a 1951 Hornet Club Coupe? thx. Niels

Theirs...YIKES!
Kens...Ahhhh!
Stay away from those...I don't know where the maker got his "pattern" from but Ken Amman is the one you want to contact...and yes his are 125.00 @ side + shipping and worth every penny! (maybe more if he raised prices...still worth every penny)
These 85.00 don't have the holes punched, the center "bead" layout is entirely upside down and incorrect as well and the beads that head up the firewall are wrong too.
Ken's beading is as close as you will get to the factory but not perfect and it came with the clips!
And if you are thinking...hmmm...I'll never see it again once the carpet is installed...think about how you would weld those nasty looking ones in,compared to Kens which fit the firewall beads and transmission cutout beads NEAR EXACTLY as shown in this picture of the drivers side rough welded in...nearly perfect fit!
I don't have a picture handy...but when I ground down the welds you literally cannot tell the seam at the firewall/transmission beads!0 -
I think you guys made this decision easy for me. Ken gets the check. Thanks0

I bought some from Ken. Really happy with it. Great job, and fits perfect!0 -
In case you weren't convinced before heres some pictures after fitting and welding.
I still have a small amount of finish grinding but the pattern is "dead-nutz"0
