Carter Fuel Filter

Within the last month there was a thread about old Carter fuel filters and replys with part numbers for gaskets. I went back on the forum at least a month and could't find the thread. I would like to have that info now as I have one of these filters. Thanks. Norm

1 7/8" (This is Carter's Compact Model) The only place I found that had a gasket was a web site.

How do you buy from Fasterthanthem? I found their site- no phone #. Tried to contact- no reply, tried to enter part #s CAR 23A20 and CAR 3082- no results. Norm

It looks like you have to enter 23A-20 or 30-82. Why, only the Internet gods know.

On further review, I believe that 23A-20 and 30-82 are good Carter/Federal Mogul part numbers, but they are not stocked by NAPA.
