OMG 51hornet, you're right. After using my LOA decoder ring, look what text was left!
  • no, believe me, I am offering up a real, bona fide matchbox car in the blister pack. and I only got three left, to sell. I got myself a few, but nowhere close to 2000....
  • No doubt that you're offering the real McCoy at a fair price.
  • they are all taken.

I'll keep browsing the toy aisle...
  • Okay, looks like I got everyone on board that wanted one except I got one left over. Trying to figure out where I messed up. Please, if you got one, drop me a PM, and verify...
  • picked up a couple of these at wall mart the other day $2.99
  • your wal mart is cheaper than my wal mart.

  • no, I got everyone, I think, still seem to have one car left over.

If you have not received your car, you will soon. I will be mailing the last of them today, minus the oddball left over one.

I hate to say it, but maybe I got seven of them. Hopefully this sorts out in the end.

your's is sent. I was trying to figure out where my last payment for the remaining one was, and you sent it via SNAILexpress (post office) It seems to take my post office FOREVER to get a letter or anything else to me from the west coast. (BTW, I just got the money order on Friday afternoon, wish I was kidding, because I think you sent it on the 7th, if memory serves correct)

Funny, when I send it from my next town's over Post Office, I get items where they need to go faster. I always send from the one, and painfully wait from mine.

    Hope yor Doc arrives soon!

Hudsonkid, it may have to do with the attitude of your local postmaster. The guy in my (small) town is a total jerk and I often get my stuff several days late. I've found out that he sometimes leaves stuff sit on the counter for days before sticking it in the appropriate mailbox. I've had my mail wind up at other houses (and theirs wind up at mine) for no other reason than we all have Polish (albeit dissimilar) last names. (Couldn't possibly betray a certain bigotry, could it?? ) He also doesn't like multiple stamps. I've got lots of 32- and 33-cent stamps to use up, and when I put several stamps on an envelope that total 39 cents, he gets all bent out of shape because he has to hand-cancel them! Whoop-de-freakin'-doo!!! All stamps are legal tender forever, buster!! This guy also shuts the post office lobby down for TWO HOURS for his lunch break (11:30 to 1:30).

We used to have a real cool lady who would fill in on occasion before our current guy was "installed." She tried to get the job permanently, but to no avail. Come to find out, this guy had his application and resume fished out of the round file by someone higher up in the Postal Service with whom he was related!! It's obviously not what you know, but who...

I take everything I mail out to the post office in nearby Fond du Lac, which is a truly professional operation with courteous staff and extended hours. I know my stuff will be shipped right and on time. Bad enough I have to receive my mail through some neanderthal; I don't want other peoples' trust in me screwed up by having him ship it, too.

And people wonder why I have virtually no respect for government apparatchiki...
