Can anyone tell me if the storks (or lower mounting bracket) for the 36 rear tail lights is the same on both sides or are they handed,ie l/handed r/handed?

I'd be willing to bet that they're handed. That's the cast part, of course; the light housings themselves are probably interchangeable.



And, as Park has noted (below), remember that there are different bases for various body styles, like coupes. So, considering that each body style has a L and R variation, you now have quite a variety of possibilities out there!

Thanks for that Jon , there was 1 on ebay I got to $160 and got to rich especially when I would have to find the other 1 and change into our money (plus 31% plus freight), If they were the same I wouldve just got another 1 cast and add it to my selection of moulds and it wouldve been cheaper

To confirm Jon's suspicions: according to the '30-'39 parts book, all variations of the '36 tail/stop light "bases" (varying with body style) are different, left to right.

does anyone have moulds for these bases and are willing to cast a pair for me?
