Sorry to get your hopes up, Tom, but we are moving from California east to New Mexico. The magazines are printed in and mailed from Ypsilanti, Michigan. :cool:

Sam, Is there any reason that the Leftcoasters get their WTN's so much later than the rest of the US? I noticed on the Forum that some of the guys had their copies a week ago last Friday. I checked with three other Leftcoasters and no one has received their copy, all three are paying for the First Class delivery. It seems to give the Rightcoasters a one to two-week lead on the Ads. I know there are some people that think we Westcoasters are a little off-kilter, but I thought First Class was First Class. Apparently not.

Any answers? Thanx for your time.

Everybody I know in Southern California who subscribes via First Class rec'd their magazines last Saturday (the 17th), Monday or Tuesday. They were mailed on the 15th-16th, so I guarantee you nobody got it before Friday. All I can think of is that you are paying for first class and it is not being sent first class. Send Membership Chairman Charlotte Sargent an email and ask her to check to make sure you are listed properly. If you aren't, she'll fix it right away. I have nothing directly to do with the mailing process, as Charlotte sends a disk with the labels to the printer for each issue, and he mails them from Ypsilanti. I do monitor it though to make sure we are on schedule. I'm sorry it isn't working for you... HETcharlottesargent@cox.net (drop the HET)

Sam I have not yet gotten mine here in Ohio but everyone else did. Is my subscription good? I got my first one a few months ago.

New Mexico - that's a foreign country, right???

I remember a fellow I worked for at the Navy Yard coming into work one morning shaking his head. Seems his 17 year old Junior class high school daughter had come home the night before all upset - her track coach was moving out of the country. When he asked her where she said "New Mexico!!"

And, no, she wasn't a blonde!!! LOL

Seriously, a cool old car. With that said, I hope our next Hotel display at a National meet is not of a Hash, but of a Hudson. Reno's display embarrased me. PC or not, the public should see what made Hudson a Hudson and it wasn't a Nash.

FYI---I finally received my WTN copy on 04-07-2007!! Third class sucks!! Found out thru WTN subscriptions that I sent check for third class, thought I was re-newing FIRST class. My Bad. Have updated to first class, two-week later arrival is not good!!
