I'm not really an expert, but until one comes along I'll tell you that Clifford Performance used to carry a lot of Hudson speed parts. But a quick check of their website just now, reveals nary a one!

However, Uncommon Engineering offers a complete 7X engine starting at $7,000, exchange or outright. Find out more at their website, http://www.uncommonengineering.com/catalog.html

While the 7X has specific parts, most of what makes a 7X so special is all of the handwork and custom work done to the block, specific to the valve area, and in an effort to improve breathing.

I would say that while Uncommon engineering is a fun website to check out, I can't vouch for them, off the web. I would suggest hunting around for the Maas's they both seem to lurk on the board here. If nothing else, they have the idea as to how to make a flathead go fast. Also, Dany Spring, who lurks around here, he's been known to go fast, as well.

Parts, gaskets, pistons, etc.. find Dale Cooper, he's got most of your items covered there.

Greenhornet... go to my website and explore. Click on any of the tech subjects on the front page and it will take you to page two... there you will find links to 7X pictures... prep information and lots more about the mystic of the 7X engine.

Include 21 Century Hudson in you engine remanufacturing providers. Randy is first class too in the area of engine building.
