    If I had the extra cash right now I'd be seriously looking at it...the price for a potential "driver" is reasonable.

    Yeah I know what you mean about "RAN WHEN PARKED" I looked at a 51 pacemaker a couple of years ago. the guy told me that he drove it into the field where it was parked. He just forgot to tell me that it was driven in about 30 years ago and had sat out in the pasture ever since!!!!!!!!!!!
    needless to say there wasn't much left. I tried to lift the hood but it started to buckle where the side props bolt to the hood so I stopped. It was not my car so I was not going to do any more damage than I had. Turns out that the guy that owns it thinks it must be made of gold. I left it and as far as I know it is still sitting right where I left it, although there is less of it now.

    You know how it goes with some people, if something is old it's either bad or worth its weight in gold. The fact that this car is semi sheltered and has air in the tires is promising.

    Tires with air...I like that!

    With a car in the NW that old that you can't see daylight through to the other side means 1) it was stored for a majority of its life 2) it came from somewhere else in the country!

    Obviously I'd want to check it out in person before I bought it and this is close enough to me if anyone is interested I could go look at it....

    All I know is I paid 1600 (+ 500 to get it shipped to me) for my 49 and it wasn't running when it was parked!
