clutch discs, now what?

It would seem Doug's decision is final.
This could be tragic for those of us who own stick-shift Hudsons as the cork clutch running in oil is one of the truly unique mechanical aspects of the make.
Let us hope there is someone else willing to "step up" & continue this service & that Doug would be willing to sell his equip. etc.
Like K-GAP, who have also supplied us with material only used in Hudsons, it is almost incumbent for those who cherish & wish to continue to restore Hudsons, that these services continue to be available.
I would like to also throw this in: when I flew into Indianapolis to see a '41 Custom Commodore 8 that was for sale there, I called Doug to help me with the mechanical appraisal. He picked me up at the airport, took me to the place of business where the '41 was, pointed out a few things missing, then took me to his place of business, showed me around, and dropped me off back at the airport. This was way beyond "the call of duty", the act of a "true blue Hudsonite", helping a little known Hudson friend.
Doug - thanks for all you've done for members everywhere, & myself,
Pete

There are still a couple of club members doing the clutch disk refurbishment, one in FL I believe and Tom Sutton in VA.0

OH, I wasn't aware of that - don't recall seeing them advertise.0

There is an ad in the latest WTN for a gentlemen who also does clutches. When mine times out, I am just going to do what is needed to convert it to a modern dry clutch. Too much chance of losing a clutch in the middle of nowhere to have such a rare and unique setup.0
