Does anyone know of a kit or spindle/caliper setup that would work on the front end of my 1939 Hudson 112 to put disc brakes on it?

Thanks,

Sean

    Sean,

I bought a Disc Kit from Richard Pridemore in Stokesdale NC 336 427-4930 to put on my '37 Terraplane. They are listed for stepdown Models. However the larger stepdown brake assy interchanges with '37 spindles with only slight modifications. (Add a 3/16 spacer & utilize Terraplane inner brg). This setup stops so well that I may not add the disc on this car. The Disc set up should work after similar modifications. Richard may be willing to machine the hubs to not require the spacer. .. Richard's Kit is economical and can be purchased either complete or just brkts & hwre, then buy your own calipers & rotors at Advance Auto.... Additionally, another Hudson Disc Conversion Supplier is in FL. 352 753 7229 Bill Labud. Listed '41 Up, $600 but with some mod's should work..
