G'Day all, what we have here is a 49/50 Chev ute built by GMH which is General Motors Holden. Holden built these style side utes for many GM product names that came into Australia. Vauxhall, Chev, Bedford etc...

If anyone is interested there are a few ute sites in Australia.

Holden continues to build this type of ute for local and export sales. In the Middle East they are sold as Chevrolet El Camino.



Strong Rumurs say that North America will see these in the near future, about 2008, as the all new ute is due in September this year based on the Zeta platform. This is the same platform as your soon to come Pontiac G8 sedans.



Now only if Ruskin in Australia Built Stepdown utes... They would have sold very well downunder.
