Hudsons in need are a BUNCH of Hudsons indeed. The 41st.Annual Souers spring Hudson meet is this coming Sunday,May 6th..For those of you that have maybe heard of all these cars and never seen them, there is a field full.I have spoke with Ed Souers, and he has told me he will be at the farm where all these cars are located on Saturday,May 5th.,starting around 10:00am.Any parts that are there,to my understanding are availible for purchase. All these cars are mostly Step-downs.There is NO sheet metal parts but many, many other parts. You know how it goes,as time marches on,parts are parts, and they -ain't mak'in no mor-so if you are planning on attending the annual meet on Sunday, come a day earlier and shop for parts. These cars are all pretty rusty, but you know you might find something you"ll need.C U Soon

....a Hoosier legend, that field! I remember driving past it in the 'sixties, when I was only vaguely aware of what a "Hudson" was...

So what all is available? Meaning are there a range of years covered, or is it mainly later-model Hudsons (trying to gauge the chances of finding parts for my '36 Terry)?

Chances are low. There are two 37 T Coaches, one is completly stripped, the other has some useable parts. There are a couple 46-47, everything else is pretty much stepdown.
  • Is there any hornet 2 door side trim? hehe...

    That looks awesome.

I cannot think of a better way to spend a day, weekend, or honeymoon.

If I won the lottery, this would be my travel destination.

Why wait? Life is short. I'll tell you what. Let's meet there and you, being the incredible hulk, can lift the cars around and I'll do the wrench work. Deal? :D
  • Well, I don't think I have to work this weekend....

We could possibly repeat this "field trip" again during the national week for those unable to attend. It is about an hour away from Auburn. This is a picture from last years event.

Ah, go for it. It's a nice drive in the country and, after all, who among us can resist Hudsons and Hudson parts.

Sourer's meet is a must for true Hudnut's to go to at least once many of the club veterans in the mid-west go Also attracts some of the rarer Hudsons. Some years' it's been almost as large as a regional. Get there early, nice ride down the lincoln highway (Rt 30) from my neck of the woods.

From I 69 take State Road 5 North approximately two mile, continue thru the 4 way stop to the first house on the left.
