THIS WOODIE BELONGED TO PAUL SIMMS OF NEW sj ILN THE 60S AND 70S, HE SOLD IT TO JIM FRITTS OF NJ, WO DID THE FULL RESTORATION, JIM SHOWED IT AT THE SAC NATIONAL IN 93 ALONG SIDE MY 41 WOODIE. HE SOLD IT TO THE GENTLEMAN IN THIS ARTICLE, IT HAS GONE TO THE BIG BUCK COLLECTORS AS HAS MY 41 SORRY ABOUT THAT, BILL ALBRIGHT0

After showing it at the Sacramento National Jim took it down to the annual "woodie" show at Encinitas, Calif. This is probably the biggest showing of "woodies" in the country, an annual event, put on by their national club.
No one there had ever seen a Hudson "woodie" before & many said they didn't even know Hudson made them.
It won "Best of Show"!0 -
