Steering Ratios

Does anyone know the gear ratio on the 1953 Hudson Hornet power steering unit. How many turns on the steering wheel gives you lock to lock and does the manual box have the same ratio
Has anyone tried to convert a non Hudson power unit for this application.

I have added 1954 power steering to our 1951 and 1952 Hornets. I kept original steering boxes and just changed, pitman arm, center steering arm, water pump and added p/s cylinder, double pulley on fan and p/s pump. If you don't have p/s water pump, you can add 1/8" washers behind bolts that hold fan and pulley. Only other modification that is necessary is to drill one hole in frame for p/s cylinder mounting bracket.
