Restoration Specialties & Supply
Doeas anyone know what happen to this Pennsylvania firm? I am in need of some parts they offer in their catalog.
I have called every day for two weeks and only get an error message from the phone service about checking the number and dialing again.
They have not responded to the any e-mails sent to the address on the web page.
Did they make it to the Carlise, PA meet?
Gas is too darned expensive for me to drive the 20 miles on way just to see if the shop still there.

Pacemaker500,
I recently (about a month ago) bought some spring clips from them, so I know they're still in business. Try this link; http://www.restorationspecialties.com/0 -
Pacemaker500,
I sent them two samples of items I needed, that was March 27, and have not heard back from them. I have called and talked to the guy that answers the phone, but they have never called me back even after leaving numerous messages. I have dealt with them in the past, and have been very pleased, but they have really dropped the ball this time.0 -
Hello , if you are looking for window channeling foe Hudsons, Essex and Terraplane, I have kits for '48-54 sedans, coupes. The kits are $145.00, includes beltlines, Division Bars and channeling. Kits for other H E T are in the process, need measurements and samples. I advertise in the WTN.
(562) 947-5864, I am in So Ca. Call after 6:00 pm. Thanks VicTor0 -
Thank all. The fact that the phone is no longer functioning causes me to think something has happened. Both voice lines and the fax line are down.
An my e-mail requests have nvever been answered. Since they are only 20 miles away, I thought I would give them a try (they were recommened by HETers).
I did get panel clips from them last December.0 -

Victor, please elaborate on your kit.
This is one area on my car that needs a lot of attention. Is this the stuff I would need to get proper weather sealing on all of my door glass? I think the fuzy strips, and the channels, right?
Any pictures?
the price seems real fair for an all inclusive kit.0 -

Victor is Highly recomended!0 -
Thanks for the inquiry on the window channeling. The division bar** is a ridged bar between the front door window and the vent window with felt. The beltline is the wipers (fuzzy, whiskers, etc) where the widow goes up and down. The channeling (with stainless beading) is the flexible channeling that’s in the door or body (back window, coupe) that guides the window up/down and makes a seal to keep the weather out and to keep the widow from rattling.
**A division bar for a Hollywood and a convertible is different, I have these also, $45.00 a set. I am still working on a kit for the Hollywood and convertibles.
No pictures as of yet, great idea.
For all other rubber products, see Kgap. http://www.k-gapstore.com/servlet/StoreFront

Do you sell the clips that hold the channeling to the top of the door? There are three for each of my four doors.0
