I finally finished the stress crack and rust out repairs on the drivers front fender ~ !

I had this fender media blasted over a year ago - then it sat in my closet un-primered until I moved at which time it was in the back of my truck in the pouring rain and then in the shop untouched the last couple of months - hey I've been working on other things!

This fender is getting temporary primer only - I'll strip it again when I do the tub.

Now the only rust repairs remaining are the bottoms of the doors :D

Thanks - the blue stuff is exactly that - a heat sink to help from warping the panel. I got that from Eastwood tools in my Lead Kit.

You still can still get areas of warpage, but this drastically reduces the footprint of the heat.

The panel clamps are awesome for any kind of butt-weld for sheet metal. The gap is perfect for MIG welding and these clamps can be used in areas where vice-grip clamps won't work.

Get the clamps from HF - they're only about 10.00 for a package - everyone else is close to 30.00!
