50 carb
Thanks for all the info from my last question.
I just bought a rebuilt carb. It looks brand new! here's the whole story.
My old carb started to leak from the top. The car runs fine, however the carb leaks from the top. I put the new carb on and the same thing its leaking from the top! Do I need to rebuild it or is there just one gasket I need to change?
thanks,
Dom

Do you want to define 'from the top'? That might help someone offer a solution.
Do you mean that gasoline is spilling out of the top of the air horn? Or somewhere below that?
Does it leak when the car is running? When it's been sitting for awhile? Or what?
Do you have an electric or manual fuel pump? If electric, do you have any sort of pressure adjustment device on it?0 -
Maybe the gaskets are dried up or the float is sticking.0
