A GREAT ISSUE - as Usual!!! Job well done.

That is a great article on Al Suffrahn of the Grand Canyon Chapter and a super pic on the back cover.
  • got mine today, great !
  • Wow... I like the pacemaker coupe on the cover, nice shot, even if a bit overexposed (top of the building in back) probably could have photoshopped that a bit. These are the shots I like to see of Hudsons. I treasure all of the pictures I get that have great composition like this, hudson or brand X.

    Is that coupe Uncle Josh's?

I can hardly wait to read this issue.

BTW, I sent a prospective your way Sam, wasn't sure if you guys were still giving comp issues away, told him to contact you.

    Best!

  • Got mine yesterday here in Tennessee.

Details on this year's "Hudsons In The Heartland" meet in Pigeon Forge are in the Calendar section. If you're planning on attending, make reservations as soon as possible. As of May 2, 40 rooms had been reserved (They have around 95).

The coupe is Dan McNichol's, the guy who wrote the article about that Pacemaker in the previous WTN. Part two is in this issue. The cover photo is really good in print.
  • I'll check it out when I get mine, errrrr, uhhhh, when I see hudsondads...

As far as the coupe, that car is awesome. I could only hope to find a nice clean 51 pacemaker coupe, or a 52, heck, and SWB coupe would do!

The last 2 51 pacemaker coupes didn't work out....

Maybe it was taken with a 1950's camera, just to keep things in perspective. Just musing---
  • Oh Yeah, I got mine on Friday.........

  • As I said, I admire the ability to compose a photo. I usually focus entirely on one thing or the other and sometimes miss the surroundings. I have tried to improve by taking at least 2 photos of everything, one with full background and one with the subject alone. At least then I can decide which I like better and don't second guess the one I should have taken.
    A PRO, I will never be.:D

I seem to remember not too long ago a certain gentleman stating that he wasn't going to contribute anymore to the forum. Pity he didn't keep that promise. There seems to be far too much verbage hereon. Let's keep the forum positive, and focused on Hudsons, not personality issues.

    Geoff.
  • Thanks Sam....got mine yesterday and started reading it last night!
