31 Essex Super Six Carburetor?

it is a marvel carb, i forget the number, do you have the heat exchanger that bolts between the exhaust manifold and the block, the carb bolts to this. this is a pretty important piece and if you dont have one, you might be beter off making an adapter and running a more readily available carb. i had planned to do this as my heat exchanger was in really poor shape, but i sent it out to be repaired. i am working on getting another 31 engine, trying to iron out some details, ill keep in touch if i get it and it has anything that i might be able to part with to help you.0

For a complete list of manufacturer numbers for your car, plus much other data, drop by my web site @:

Click on "Manufacturer's Numbers" and scroll down to 1930-1939. I can also send you the 1931 Essex Mechanical Specifications and Paint Spec sheets - these sheets give you the Paint Options used on different body styles.
