Hotels in Auburn

Just a little up date: EVERYONE NEEDS TO VERIFY THEIR RESERVATIONS!!! One of the NorthWest Chapter members called the Comfort Suites in Auburn to verify his, he even had a confirmation number, they, the hotel , claim that he has no reservation. A call to the manager was returned at west coast time 5:45 am. sorry we have no record of your reservation period. Also the Country Hearth Inn is now The Days Inn, so that our members are not searching all of Auburn for the former, when its now a Days Inn. When I did a Auburn hotels search night before last it still shows Country Hearth Inn. Hudsonly Lou Cote

Thanks for the heads-up. I just phoned the Days Inn (ex-Country Hearth) and my reservation is still good. Same phone number as before. I think it's under the same management but they just took on the Days Inn franchise...so it's not as though a whole new bunch of owners took the place over and lost the old reservations. But I don't know about the Comfort Suites....

I'm 50 miles away from Auburn,WA - but if anyone is stuck they could throw down a sleeping bag at my place!

Sorry - I have extra space - just no extra beds!

I think it's called "Overbooking"!!! However, they'll call it "computer error."

Ah, I see - you took "Northwest Chapter member" to mean the motels were IN the Northwest. Some days get confusing. LOL

I have that problem of confusing days quite frequently - but I'll be 70 in September. hehehehe

  • I had no problem with the Country Hearth Inn. Sheila called and let me know of the name change and reconfirmed my reservation.

I just called the Holiday Inn Express and was told they could not find my reservations that I made about 6 months ago. I have a confirmation # and still said they could not find it. I mention the Hudson meet and nothing. She said she would contact her manager and call me back. I was getting pissed but was trying to be nice if you know what I mean. I hung up and 2 minutes later she calls me back and said she found it in another part in the computer under the Hudson Club. I will be calling every week and maybe day from now on. Good luck, Ron

If you don't have reservations at any of the local Hotels in Auburn, remember that Ft.Wayne isn't very far at all.It is only 13 miles south of the meet, and no traffic to deal with.It is an easy on exit and easy off at the meet. There will be golf cart shuttles running people from all the different Hotels.Park anywhere on the Hotel lots you can find, and if you see a golf cart, stop and ask for a ride.Looking forward to seeing you all!!!:)

I double checked my reservation at the LaQuinta Inn. Everything was OK. Now I have to send in my registration.

I guess that I should clarify my posting. The golf carts will be running at 5 main hotels in Auburn. The Auburn Inn,Super 8,LaQuinta,Holiday express and the Comfort Inn.These are are a stones throw from one another.
