29 Town Sedan
I have a complete, un-restored '29 Town sedan that is all original and was parked in '59 when the water pump went out. This car is 100% complete and has sat on blocks covered in a barn, (I know) for almost 50 years and yet the interior has not rotted or been eaten by mice or moths, the glass is all good and only minor surface rust on the body where the paint cracked. This is a solid car that will not need any frame, body or interiorparts. It needs to be restored but is solid and complete what should I expect to sell it for "as is" or what's the value restored? My Grandfather bought this car from the original owner in the late 30's so it is a two owner car that has never been wrecked or modified, it is blue with camel colored interior and if needed I can provide VIN, please advise--K

Where are you located? For values, you can check out the NADA guides. Some folks they are low, but I have seen them to be fairly accurate based on ebay or other auctions going on. Can't speak to private sales. Try www.nadaguides.com - go to collector car, Hudson and so on. I think if you click on "Price guide" at the top ties into the same values.0

It's hard to set a price on these older cars. Since so few are sold every year, a 'pattern' is hard to detect. One must simply try to find others of the same year for sale, then note the price for which they actually sold.
Here are a couple recent examples for sale; both appear to be restored (thus would bring more than yours, though as an 'original' it is fairly desirable):

This is for sale for $25,000 (whether it brings that amount, is another question).

This one actually sold, for (apparently) $15,900. Again, it appears to be restored (though it might be an older restoration), so an unrestored one would bring less. Possibly you'd do best to set a price higher than you expect (like $8,000) followed by "or best offer".....and see what kind of offers you get.0
