Robert, you can simply copy / paste the URL of any or all of the photos to a 'post' here, and then people can just click on the URL and be taken to the photos. To find out the photo's URL, just place your cursor on the photo itself, right-click, and then -- in the box that opens up -- left-click PROPERTIES. When the Properties box opens, copy the LOCATION by simply sliding your cursor all the way across the jibberish while holding the left button of your mouse, down. When done (with the cursor on the now-highlighted text), right-click. A box opens, then left-click COPY. Now go back to the posting form and choose the little yellow box icon at the top. It opens a box in which you are to put the URL. Place cursor in box (remove HTTP which is printed there) and right-click. Then left-click on PASTE and Bob's Your Uncle!
(The above is rather lengthy because I don't know your level of expertise. Most folks know how to copy / paste but maybe you don't yet, so I explained it. Actually the process goes quite quickly after the third or fourth time.)0 -

Here's how to post photos if you don't have a Website to store them on:
1. Save your photo as a jpeg. at 72 dpi, about 4 x 6" or 5 x 8" in size. save it somewhere where you can easily find it, like your desktop.
2. Click on "New Thread" on this site.
3. When your ClassicCar posting box appears, scroll down to "Manage Attachments." Click on "Manage Attachements."
4. A new dialog box appears. The top option is "Upload file from your computer." Click on "Browse" and find the photo you saved.
5. Click on "Upload" to the right of the "browse" window.
6. Wait until the name of your photo appears in red above the words "Attachment key" If your photo is too large, the system will tell you.
7. Close the "Manage Attachments" box. The name of your photo will appear in red in the "Attach Files" space below your ClassicCar posting box.
8. Type your message. You can click "Preview Post" to see your photo and message.
9. Post your message and photo.
Good Luck! :cool:0 -

Hi Rob, I will Email you info tomorrow night on the clubs and the HET National Rally in Toowoomba. The Australian HET national rally if by far the biggest held in the Southern Hemisphere, if not the biggest outside of North America. The last 3 rallies had around 60 cars in attendance and it just keeps getting bigger. Membership Australia wide is continuing to grow. As I am part of the Rally Comittee, we now have 60 odd entrants and expecting some late entrants to arrive, it's not to late! The rally goes for a week and we travel around the host town each day seeing many tourist sites. We have a day where we line up all the cars in year order for a huge photo shute. The last rally was held in Echuca Victoria in 2005 where as many as 15 stepdowns attended including a 53 Hornet coupe and a 53 Hornet hardtop. These are rare in Australia as your car is too.
