Oil bath air cleaner question....

Okay, I still would love to know if someone has a shelf number of an equivalent air cleaner element that would fit into a twin H style oil bath air cleaner. I wish to convert, and anyone that has a number or cross, it would be of great help.

I no longer have number, but I did convert a set about 15 years ago. I just took measurements of the oil element to NAPA and we found dry replacement that worked fine.

I found my NAPA Master Catalog. Send me measurements and I will look up a dry filter that will work.
  • see, that's the problem. I don't know what to measure for height, or upper or lower diameter. I figured my element should be similar to the insert in the aircleaners already. I guess I could measure what I got and we can try to go from there.... fitting thelower base is probably the key.
  • you know what, i have one oil bath somewhere in the garage i will look and see if there is a filter in it. im not going to use it because i like the look of the regular twin h.

I found a set of the twin h oil bath I forgot I had and measured it. Try NAPA 6094 or if not available, try 2154. :)

    Thank you much Dave!

you got me in the right direction. I had to go to a carquest, but they were able to cross 6094. It was not high enough, but it was a great starting point, I got two of a better height. gonna fit them shortly.

I think the carquest number is 87055.

If anyone else needs a set, lemme know. I think they were $7.10 apiece.

    Thanks again, Dave!
