antennae

If you are speaking of one that is mounted on the roof... the knob on the inside of the car has a "set screw" (mine had two) on the side. Loosen the screw(s) and work the knob loose. Once you have it removed, you will see a nut on the collar of the antennae mount. I think it was a 5/8" nut. I had to use a thin wall, deep well socket to get to the nut and get it off. You will see how the rest if it comes apart / out from there. You may have to tap on it gently to get it loose if it has been there a while.
Also, you might wrap the antennae with some newspaper or light cloth incase if falls on to the paint.
If this is the wrong antennae, then I don't know.
Good luck, Terry0
