Glove box doors, ahtrays, instrument panels
On the subject of "refreshing" parts, how did Hudson achieve the finish used on the recessed areas of the Hornet (and maybe other models) glove box doors, ash tray face, and instrument cluster? What is the best approach with pieces being replated? Thanks, Walt-LA

Walt, I've used that same Eastwood silver carb paint, and it's an unbelievably good match. You cannot tell the difference between my instrument cluster, which I painted, and the glove box, which I didn't. If I decide to drive my Hornet to Auburn, I'll show you just how good it looks ... no excessive gloss, etc. Just perfect.0

Park,
Hope to see you there! We'll get in on Wednesday, there five or so of us going up from LA. Have the newsletter editors' meeting on Thu morning and I believe there will be a get together of the Forum Folk sometime. Outside of those two events, I'll be at the Swap Meet. Is the Eastwood carburetor paint self etching? Walter0
