we found a way to take off the antenae
You all were very helpful in finding a way to remove the antennae. The problem was the plastic sticks to the threads and you end up breaking the plastic. Well, Harold, my magic restorer, took a heat gun to the plastic and removed it without breaking, be careful not to heat too much. Again, thanks for all the help.

That's awesome! I was hoping someone had a solution to this problem. I just didn't think it would be the one asking the question! haha, thanks for sharing that and I will try that next time! I imagine if I discolor the plastic then I got it too hot? Is that about your only gauge in doing this job?0

We did not discolor the plastic, but we had a slight melting problem, to solve this, we just put the socket in the hole of the plastic until it cooled, then removed the socket and everyting was fine, thanks everyone for the help. We cut the wire and will resolder it when we put it back.0
