I liked this one as well as the other '54 but I see I have a lot to learn about originality.

whoa I've seen that car, might be John Vanlier's car the color scheme is the same. The dealer is rumored to be less than reputable though. I'm not sure though haven't dealt with him.0

This car was for sale about a year ago on ebay if memory serves. I think it had some trouble selling as it was listed a few times .0

I looked at this car when it was in Orland Park. I got a 2nd chance offer and since it was local, I went by. Almost bought it. It was Al James'. He called it 'the Pumpkin'. Did John own this as well?
Great interior. Borg Warner transmission. The power brakes needed attention at the time. The original color was Burgundy.

That car has some scary looking stuff going on around the rear wheel wells.0

The car was solid. yeah, some surface rust but the frame was intact. $11k is a little steep unless the fixed the brakes. If it had Twin-H I would have been the owner for about half the price.

Yeah Al James owned it then a neighbor bought it who didn't do a dang thing with it and then John Vanlier (even though it was on Ebay) had it but shoot Wonder why he sold it to that outfit?! Maybe he got a good trade on another old car he wanted....or made money....or the wife got said it had to go. LOL0
