I was told this is a 1927 Essex, but I believe it is a 1930. Can someone let me know. Thanks ahead of time.

what about the dash or bonnets or grill to help identify

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/EssexSuper6/ this s the site people there are very good too and aloare on this site but they have some picturesetc there you will have to jion the site , but you will find it usefull
  • Thanks for everyone's help so far. As far as the dash and grill goes, I do not have either. This car body is just about as basic as they come, that's why I don't feel bad about putting a bunch of orphaned parts together to make a rod from. If this helps, it has a single cowl vent. I know some Hudsons had dual vents.
  • Thanks for everyone's help, but I was able to identify this body with the help of an old spotter's guide. I studied it thoroughly, and I am 99.5% sure it is a 1929 REO "Flying Cloud" Master.
