Solid Motor Mounts

I've run solid motor/transmission mounts in many of my cars before. But those cars had full frames with the body being insulated by rubber cushions.



Being the Hudson is monobilt or unibody I'm wondering if anyone has run solid motor and/or transmission mounts in the stepdowns (any engine/trans type) and what their experiences are?
