  • yeh just that this is the site i log into before ebay... if he sends to aus im onto it despite the drastic price
  • yeh but my heart is set on a 2x2 just for the style...... well aware it is a LOT more work carb wise in jetting and balancing etc

it sure is a lot of $$$$ but im not doing this to cut corners, i want people to freak when i lift the bonnet

this guy better sell to australia. IF NOT ANYONE I COULD DO A RELAY WITH?- he sends it to you, you re-send it for shipping and a pain in the arse fee? even though its all mega bucks i really want this thing. (may be the beer talking but im sure its not)
  • G'day mate...drinking VB hey!!!

I was wondering how you got Half Baked...hehe

nah carlton draught after a pay the time steak x2 (if its 6- 6.59pm you pay $6 7pm $7 etc- way too good a deal)

i gave myself the half baked handle cos i jump in halfway through thinking about what im doing and just go for it before i realise quite what im up to.... causes all kinds of mischief
  • he's got a flat rate of $25 us to ship it anywhere in america flat rate so it wouldnt matter where the relayer (if anyone puts there hand up) is from. i'll see what he says in the morning before i head off to work ( provided i get outta bed but its payday so theres motivation)
  • I love that Question for the seller.

I reckon my set of 1922 Hudson 19" wires might fit my 55 Huddy???

I try later after a few more drinks...hehehe
  • my guess is around $100 to ship from west coast USA to victoria just roughly
  • if someone sends the seller $650, he should ship it anywhere in the world.

It looks nice all polished, but wow, hefty price.

Maybe i'll polish hudsondad's up, and put it on the bay......

I see someone "bought it now"- Are you the proud owner, Half Baked?

I shipped a 16 pound package from East Tennessee to Kent England and it cost $45, by US Postal ground service. My understanding is that type of service is no longer available. UPS Store wanted $250 for the same package, admittedly it took 6 weeks for the package to get there via USPS, whereas UPS would have been 5-6 days. USPS offers only airservice on overseas shipments now. At least check it out before shipping outside the country. I have not shipped anything else so have not priced the USPS service since the change.

  • no, it looks like someone saved me 650 US there, i just got out of bed and it was sold.
  • I bought an 8 foot bullwhip from a whipmaker named Si Davey in Austrailia once.

It got here in a week flat. From Oz to Tennessee in 7 days - I was mightily impressed.

I'd say you would be better served by trying to strike a deal with the Gibson -Binks pattern owner to make yourself one of Aussie origin.

That was a hell of alot of money, crazy money for an intake of that sort.

what was the 8 foot bullwhip for?

(maybe they knew what it was, and figured it had to be a rush delivery?) :D
  • i have started the search for a foundry to do the job, if the owner lets the moulds up. talking to my boss today who knows about these things, it might still cost a bundle to cast one. a small volume may bring the cost down a little. the big "if" is getting the moulds

Its purpose, stress relief. Yeah, that's the ticket.

One of my better purchases to be sure.
