    how much $$$$

    we'll be pulling windshields in my 50, might be good to know what new replacements are available at, rather than finding a set of good used in the garages....
  • Someone has brand new ones on eBay for just under $400 a set. For $400, I'd go buy another parts car, myself. I have two step-downs and still haven't spent $1000 yet.
  • mine in the car are "okay" but I prefer to get something that doesn't have the edge "haze" that old glass gets. I know we got stuff stored that is better, but man oh man, if the price is right, I would really consider a pair of new ones.

    I mean, they are coming out and all next year, so why not look around for a bit, and see what's out there.
  • Paul,

    Are you bringing any side mirrors to Auburn? I'd like to buy a pair. I'll be there on Wednesday.

  • I am not going to the Auburn nationals. However hudsondad will be there, and he already has a mission for me in mind.

    Paul, if you decide to take these, and you end up with no buyer, or decide not to trek them across country, let me know, I will have to see where I am at, come around Fall Hershey time, if you stil have them.

    My only questions are;

    who manufactured them?

    And were they trial fit into a car, ever?

    I guess it worries me with some of the new glass coming from all over the world, how terrific the fit is, maybe using a nice old set might be a better route, but I will take your word on the quality and fitament.
