Hood springs and seatbelts/ 55 Hash
My 55 Hash has weak hood springs I think. They were loose on the pins so I moved them a half turn and pulled them onto the hinge but they still won't hold the hood up. I've cleaned the hinges pretty good and lubed them but I'm still using a piece of half inch pvc as a hood holder. Is heavier springs the answer or am I missing something?
Also, what year did they start putting seat belt plates into the floor. I haven't picked up the carpet yet to look so I don't know if there are any plates in the floor or not.
