Thank GOD I got a Hudson..look what I ran across on the PACKARD FORUM:

323 views and only 14 replies - most are my postings here. I guess I'm the only Packard owner that is out of class. OMG Yes I do my own mechanic work when I can or have to.

Sorry but I'm not wealthy enough to have a full time mechanic on staff. I wish I would have bought a Hudson. At least they talk to each other on their site.

Amazing, isn't it? Just imagine . . . I recently located a '39 Packard 120 Convertible, unrestored, 99% all there (even original top and upholstery). I've had my doubts about buying it, because I know I would need some help and guidance. The Hudson Community is just priceless if one is retoring a Hudson-built car . . . haven't yet found such a family with any other make.

Still . . . that 'vert was mighty fine!!

  • not to place any car above a hudson, but Russell, consider the notion, that I think packard is well represented, when you go to a place such as Fall Hershey. I seem to recall that there is a lot of venors supporting Packard, for such a small following. For how active hudsons are, you would figure there would be more activity at a place suh as hershey, but that's fine, as I would prefer to keep it all secret!
