Thank GOD I got a Hudson..look what I ran across on the PACKARD FORUM:

323 views and only 14 replies - most are my postings here. I guess I'm the only Packard owner that is out of class. OMG Yes I do my own mechanic work when I can or have to.

Sorry but I'm not wealthy enough to have a full time mechanic on staff. I wish I would have bought a Hudson. At least they talk to each other on their site.

Well to be fair there may be other more active Packard sites but it's in large part thanks to the spirit of the club as Meritt Marks set it up. That we are a club that doesn't judge for trophies and that we're a driver's club. I think guarding information is rediculous, it's hard enough keep a car on the road that hasn't been produced for 50 years anyhow and no one is gonna get rich guarding technical information on cars. Also some other clubs are not so foruntate to have a good population of "tech guys" that actually work on their own cars.

I had been interested in Hudson cars for a long time. It wasn't until I found my way to the HET online and met several club members that I was convinced this was the car for me.

There are other makes of good, interesting cars; but the folks I've met along the Hudsonly way have made the difference.

    Thanks.
