49 Commodore Steering Box Seals?

The output shaft that the pitman arm connects to looks to be leaking grease around the seal.



I have not torn the unit down - but does anyone know of rebuild kits for the steering box and/or a replacement seals for this application - or maybe even a rebuilt unit?

I have went through a couple steering gears in the past. You should be able to get the bearings and seal at a good Bearing and Seal House (store). Just hope that the bearings on the worm gear are in good shape. Norm
