1937 Terraplane muffler

Anyone have a current part number on a muffler that will fit a 1937 terraplane thats sold over the counter. That is the correct length and the correct inside and outside diameter inlet and outlet or really close?

I wasn't aware that these are still available over the counter (at national parts stores). However, you could try an antique auto exhaust system supplier. One of these is Burton Waldron http://waldronexhaust.com/ who offers the complete system, and you may be able to buy just the muffler there as well. He offers his products in several types of metal, such as stainless steel, steel, and aluminized steel.

smithy's mufflers come in a range of sizes from 24" long up, all use a 2" inlet and outlet, plus they can be rebuilt.

HI CHUCK,--What's on mine---length=21in, longer will work---O.D.=4 1/4---inlet=2 1/4 o.d.---outlet =2 1/4 o.d.---It needs to have the in/out pipes angled about maybe 15 degrees at opposite directions or you'll have to bend your pipe to get a straight in/out muffler between the frame.

Thanks guys for the help What i was thinking was if someone had already found a muffler at oriellys, napa or a local place without ordering from a special shop. That was pretty close in size.
