Can anyone divulge the secret formula for HUDSONITE clutch compound?

    If Hudsonkid told you the secret, he'd have to sit on you. Or was it the entire HET club membership would have to sit on him. :confused:

    Actually, the original formula Hudsonite is currently produced by C&P Products of Maryland and has traditionally been sold by the H-E-T Club Store. At present, their clutch compound is on back order. They obtained the original formula from American Motors and were licensed by AMC to sell it, about 20 years ago.



    Doug Wildrick makes his own version, "new and improved", which seems to be working pretty well in my clutch.

    I just made some to try. Half Marvel mystery oil and half Dexron tranny fluid. Will let you know how it works.

    Dexron works fine. That is what I run in mine.

    Dexron has worked well for us here in Oz for more years than I wish to remember and available at any parts store.

    Dr doug's stuff all the way. I am not sure if he is still brewing up any, I think he still is... I have had mixed luck with anything else.
