46 Hudson on the loose....

I had the missfortune of watching my 46 Hudson coupe roll down the driveway backwards and into our pine tree. Seems since I put in a floor shift I have been parking it in 2nd gear and forgot that when I fold the front seat forward it pivots and knocks the car out of gear.

The real question at hand is I need to know the availability and or cost for a 46 rear bumper and gravel pan?? Also trunk lid maybe?? any ideas or thoughts on where to find these items?? Thanks JR new guy

Take heart, these items should not be difficult and fairly inexpensive to find. Are you in the H-E-T? If not, keep in mind that it's the ticket to a network of Hudson parts vendors. The White Triangle News contains a number of parts ads each issue, and what is advertised is usually a small percentage of the total stock these folks have, to sell.



That said, I'd imagine someone will jump in here right away with a bumper and maybe a trunk lid for sale. But for the harder to find items, the Club is a good clearinghouse, as is this Forum and Ebay as well.



(By the way....using your emergency brake can help prevent such mishaps, next time.!)
