    You must mean the Twin H setup (which looks like it came from the 'later' Hash models)???
  • Hi, This looks like my friend Hal and Hildi Denmans '49 Last I heard, it was sold to friend in Lancaster Penn. He added the twin-H manifold to the 262 engine, mostly to just confound people. This was back in the very early 60's The car was a rusting hulk when he got it. Steve

    It might be easier to say what does belong...sheesh. Nice crank windows on this psuedo Commodore. Eh, I'd give him a few bucks for it. ;)

    Well, right off the bat I see stainless headlight rims. '49's too early for those! Also, is that a wrong colored shift knob for a '49? (not too sure on that one)
  • whats missing is me in the drivers seat.

  • I wouldn't gripe if it were in my garage! Who cares what is "wrong" with it!

    How is Hal? I have not talked to him in 30 years I bet. He also used to own the X161, Tho that thing is so durn ugly I don't know why. As i remember either He or someone else found it in a backyard in LA.

    If it's in Lancaster, PA, it's real local to me and hudsondad. I would like to see it. decent car.
  • Steve;

    I used to have a friend that had a fair collection of Pierce Arrows, I imagine he's passed by now as this was forty years ago, he sure did have some nice cars though, I helped him pull a pierce and a 35 packard roadster out of a chicken house that he was storing them in. Both cars were showroom fresh even though they had been in storage for 20 years.
