A coupe for $500.00 sounds reasonable.0

How do these Jets handle? Never drove one before.0

I don't even particularly like the Jet, but they are kinda cute. (sort of like the "grinnin hamster" Rambler Americans) If it was close to me I might consider it, just as a little toy until I can find the Commodore Coupe I really want.0

They're pretty nimble, but they have a bit more "lean" then the stepdowns do.
We'll go for a ride the next time I see you at a meet.0 -
Hey Guys, Don't worry I rescued yet another one. This one had no rust throgh including floors. Has the Continental kit, the fender skirts, and all wheel covers. Picked it up yesterday and should have it running and hopefully driving today. Yes it's kind of ugly but I figured its a coupe and everyone needs a Jet to make his other cars look good.
On the way home I stopped and bought another Kaiser also a 51, I am getting to kind of like the Manhattans especially the two doors.

Guys,
I'll take pictures today and post them over the weekend. I picked it up in Richmond. The owner lived in Valley Springs (near Stockton,CA) but had it at a rental house in Richmond. The Kaiser was in Sacramento.
I can't believe how light the Jetliner is in comparision to my other Hudsons.
Talk to you soon.

I drove mine to work today (Louisville, KY) 40 miles one way from my house. She did great! Just need to tighten the sterring a little. Can't wait to put the od in it.

JETLINER UPDATE!!
Well guys the Jetliner flies again. I drained all the fluids (anyoe need any varnish) put an 8V1 Battery in her and she fired right up. Most everything electrical works. This morning I finish the brakes, reinstall the driveshaft, drain the torque converter, and refill the transmission. She should be a driver by noon and then I start on the body. I want to have her in primer by Monday night. The interior cleaned up nicely just needs the seats recovered.
I'll keep you posted and post pictures Monday night.

Hi Guys,
The Jetliner (is it a step- brother to a fullsize Hudson) continues to return to the land of the driving. It hit the road for the first time since 1977 on Sunday. Drives great but differently than my stepdowns. I want to insert pictures of its progress but how do you download from a file to the forum?
