47 PU and Dakota seat

If anyone can advise on how they have fitted the Dakota bench seats into the 46-47 trucks it would really help. Is someone making a bracket? Does anyone have pics? Thanks for the help! :cool:

Sorry, can't help, my truck still had the original seat when I got it, I'm going to stick with it for now

I made original post refering to using Dakota seat. I don't have interior completed yet, but I used oak 2 x 4's bolted to Dakota track assembly. We removed oak pieces in truck and ran long bolts up to go into new oak framework. This will give full use of Dakota track operation.



My seat is at interior shop for repair of small hole, so I can't get any pictures now. Easy installation and it definatly gives you a couple of extra inches each way.

Wow, that looks nice, maybe I'll check into that, I'm finding that the original seat leaves something to be desired
