Guess what Dee from Texas had!
She asked how much the car was worth on this forum a while back. Got a few answers. She took the car to a swap meet in New Braunfuls, Tx. She put a 7 thousand dollar price on it and was offered 4,750 the last I talked to her. The car was a 1948 Commodor with an 8 cylinder engine, Standard Transmission with overdrive. It was a marroun color and had moderate surface rust. The interior was about perfect. Two side glasses were cracked. Engine would not turn over by hand. The car had 23 thousand actual miles on it. It was driven into a closed barn around 1972 and never started again. The chrome looked almost new. I probably should have bought it, but I am working on two restorations now.
