  • Not much use without the cup. If you can get them from a dealer, the cone and cup set are outrageously expensive. But $1,100.00 each is about double the cost I've heard.

They Sold For $87 If I Bought Them I Would Have Bought 2 25877 The Ones You Can Still Buy For $5 Each And Use The Cup From Them And Still Had Bearings For A Spice Type Axel

Dave, I believe the cups can be bought separately, and they're cheap. And as Paul says, you can always buy the 25877 set and use the cup from that if needed. A couple of years ago the set (25877 bearing and matching cup) was something on the order of $15 (bought one for my '57 Chrysler).

I just bought new cups for the pickup as the rollers were clean and had no chips. About $6 apiece.
  • Park, thanks for the info. Thankfully, there are people out there who never threw anything away. Where would our hobby be without them?

The cup number is 25820 (BCA number.) Available at most auto parts stores.

Bought some years back with the 25877 bearings only to find out I had I needed the 25877T bearing. Kept the cups or outer race- whatever you prefer to call them- returned the bearings and got the bearings from Ol car Bearing.
