Had my springs rearched
I just had the rear springs on our 54 Hornet rearched. It made a world of a difference in ride and how it handes. After 110,000 miles, they were sagging pretty bad, plus the continental kit adds more weight to the rear. I had helper springs over shocks that raised rear up, but ride suffered. Well worth the money.

DAVE, I had the same problem on my 37 "T" and could'nt find anybody that said they could do it. All the shops here said they would soon revert as they had no way to heat treat them, not even with sending them off to their suppliers. Not to say yours will but where do you get them done RIGHT ?0

They did a friend of mine's 57 chevy 6 years ago and it still sits perfect. Heavy vehicle specialists that do springs on large trucks and trailers. They do not work on passenger cars, but will do an antique. Point Spring and Driveshaft in Neville Island, PA www.pointspring.com0

Thanks Dave, tried and proven is the best rec you can get. Maybe that ought to go on one of the club sites as a source.0
