262 block in great shape - make offer
I actually bought it from a guy in Canada a while back thinking it was a 308. He actually thought it was too. I had it taken to the machine shop and they said it was in great shape, then right when we got ready to move on it we realized that it was a 262. Anyways, it has very low original miles, and the previous owner greased the cylanders to preserve it back around '62 when they pulled it out of the car to replace it with a bigger engine. I think it came out of a '52 wasp. I live in Shoreline (north Seattle) if you're interested.
On a side note, anyone know how to change your profile name? I no longer have the '52 wasp that my username refers to, but a '51 hornet.
Thanks,
Neil
