    I heard it wasn't Force's car that had the problem. I heard he got hit by Bernstein.... at the top end of the track. The video is unfreakin' believable...

    I hope he's okay, Force is a great guy, friendly, a good spokesman for drag racing. SOunds like it isn't as serious as they initially thought.



    But I think you're right. Park it, get out, enjoy the life of a team owner.

    It looks like Bernstein crossed, knocked something into Force's lane, hit his right rear tire, blew it out, and the car just took off across the track. Hey, at least he won, right?

    Yes he did win with "half 1/2" his car crossing the finsh line. Way to go John !!!!!!!!!!

    My brothers are big drag racing fans, but I don't know much about it. However, the first time I became aware of John Force was during a TV Interview in the mid-'90's when he said something along the lines of "Drag Racing is just as easy as driving an old Hudson with an Automatic."

    People talk about Don, (The Snake) Prudohme, and Bob Glidden and Bill (Grumpy) Jenkins and what they did for drag racing (and rightly so) but John Force, is the first name that 99% of the people would mention when asked if they knew a drag racer. John, has for years, been the poster boy for the NHRA. He says what He thinks, and sometimes gets into trouble for it, but that's what makes him so memorable. John is larger than life and I would be very surprised if this caused him to quit. John will not be happy unless He is going 4.6 sec @ 320 mph. Ownership may be fun but driving is a RUSH!!!!!!!!!
