308 dipstick tube

I need a dipstick tube for my 55 Hash twin H 308. I don't know why someone would pull one off but mine is missing, has been since I bought the car. I think I'm running a couple of quarts low, I think the Hudson is low also but I can't tell without a measurement. I'll call Bill A tomorrow but until I do I thought I would put a feeler out here on the forum.
