Mmm, too bad it's not a Hudson engine.
  • YEAH, but I wish I had a 37 Hup to keep my 37 "T" company !

They didn't make them in '37. They spent the year reorganizing. Hupp did manage to market a new car for '38 and '39 and, after that, the Cord body based Skylark, breifly. Conventional cars mechanically, but always very attractive bodies and interior appointments, no matter the year. I particulary hate to see anyone street rod a Raymond Loewy designed '34 - '36 streamliner. True beauties if you like streamlined looks.
  • YES, They were officially shut down in 37 but 39 cars were sold that year ,actually 36 models with 37 titles. As far as I'm concerned, anybody that ratrods ANY of the old cars IS A RAT. HMMM ,maybe that's where the term came from! I especially like the 36-37 model N, BEAUTIFULL car.
