Hudsywudsy (my ebay alter ego) has a few things listed at the moment that might be of interest to one of you. I have just listed a power steering unit the once came on a '54. It's complete with the exception of the double water pump pulley. I ran it now because someone else is running that same pulley on ebay at the moment. You'll find more details in my listing, but keep in mind (if you have any interest) that the water pump pulley auction will expire in a day or so.

I'm also currently offering a '53 Hornet sedan with Twin H and Hydramatic. I mentioned the engine in this car a couple of months ago. At that time I was asking for ideas on how to confirm my beleif that there were no cracks or other combustion chamber leaks in this engine. Lewis Mendenhall (I hope I spelled that right) was kind enough to suggest that one could buy a test kit from NAPA. I did just that and the results were positive. Thank you, Lewis! I was considering parting out this car, but I just don't have the time for that this late in the (Minnesota) season.

I have a '52 Wasp coupe, as well:

A partial set of rear perimeter frame rails. (For those of you new to Hudsons, you may find this view of this critical and often rust-prone part of your car's body somewhat interesting):

This evening I'll be listing a set of NOS grille bars for a '51 or '52, a decent used '53 grille assy and an excellent used short wheelbase rocker panel for a coupe, convert, etc. More goodies in the coming days and weeks!

  • What happened to the wasp coupe?? That was neat! Hope it went to a good home!

These are hard to find. What's a little rust, the rest looked pretty good.

I'm impressed that the Hornet engine was able to be reved at 12,000. Typo in eBay description?
