Hello, New guy Searching

Hello everyone. Just found this place and I plan to do some looking around.

Last fall or winter, there was a HUDSON club meet in Mesa, AZ that I attended. A gentleman who was part of the local Arizona HUDSON club took some pics of the big HUDSON tattoo that I have on my leg. He said he was going to have it published in the HUDSON club magazine. Is there anyway to find it and get a copy if the pic did make it ? I lost the mans card and cannot find a way to get ahold of him

Oh yeah, anyone know of a nice running Hornet for sale in the 6 - 8 K price range ??

Thanks,

Kerry Hudson

I just leafed through all the Club magazines since September of 2006 and did not see the photo. So, either the gent didn't send it in, or it is in the big pile of things the editor intends to run, whenever he gets some space!
  • Whats The Story Behind The Tatoo? How Did You Come To Pick This Image?
  • I was just talking about a Hudson tattoo with a local artist/ old co-worker ( I was a professional tattoo artist for 3 years) . It's nice when you have Hudson for a last name... the tattoo means a little more

My last name is HUDSON and I have always been a classic car lover, so I figured it made sense. It took about 2 and a half hours to do. I got the logo off an old HUDSON wax can.

    Thanks for the replys !
  • Mind if I re-print it in our local newsletter and put on our local chapter web?

Just thought that I would mention that there are a few Hudsons that might meet your needs on eBay as suggested. The yellow 53 is the pick of the crop because of it's rare body style. there were very few made, and this one would be a snap to have it back on the road. Current price bid is way low for this gem. You could even have it on the road it time to drive up to Laughlin for the meet in November.

Nov. 10-11 - Laughlin Economy Run

Rooms at the River Palms Hotel . Phone 1/800-835-7904 and ask for the HUDSN15 group rate.

The Economy Run is an annual run with the California Inland, Southern California, Southwestern Borders and Grand Canyon Chapters. The premise is to fill gas tanks at an appointed location, make a ‘run” to Laughlin on a pre-arranged route to be handed out at the starting point, and then have the tank topped off in Laughlin by an appointed person who will list the amount of gasoline on your card.

Trophies will be awarded in various categories on Sunday morning at the hotel. All members are urged to join in the fun whether they make the run or not.

The "appointed location" for the California Chapters this year is Baker California on I-15 in the Bun Boy truck and RV parking area across the street from the Giant Therometer. Check in time is between 8:30 - 9:30 AM.
